As I was perusing the Odiham Parish Registers (in my hunt for John Bracknell) I noticed that the vicar had written summary notes at the beginning or end of the register books. I thought they were interesting as they were more than just a tally of births, deaths and marriages. Especially when the first random one I looked at mentioned French Prisoners of War occupying some of the houses. This warranted some investigation!
I decided to add capturing and transcribing these pages to my list of tasks for this OPS. This was the first one.
